Donald Snyder provided leadership, knowledge, and experience to the beverage industry for almost two decades. He earned his BS in Industrial and Manufacturing Systems Engineering (IMSE) from Iowa State University and his MBA from the University of Kentucky. His years in the alcohol and beverage industry include holding senior management roles at the Buffalo Trace Distillery in Frankfort, KY and MGP in Lawrenceburg, IN. At Buffalo Trace Distillery, Donald managed the barrel warehouse, small batch bottling lines, and distribution teams. He automated manual legacy operation tracking systems, documented standard operating processes, simplified the required departmental government reporting processes, and successfully demonstrated full compliance during numerous and regular TTB Audits.

At MGP, Donald managed the logistics of grain sourcing, barrel warehousing, and outbound logistics while implementing an advanced enterprise-wide system to track production, inventory, and TTB compliance.

After leaving MGP he took his experiences and knowledge and created Whiskey Resources LLC and Whiskey Systems Online (www.whiskeysystems.com). Donald created Whiskey Systems Online to help craft distilleries of all sizes with start-up business models and road maps, barrel warehouse management interfaces, intuitive distillery operations tracking tools, automated TTB Monthly Reporting and Compliance systems, and business management solutions. His software systems have been used by more than 400 distilleries of different sizes to help stay in compliance and run their businesses in the most productive and profitable way possible.

In 2020, Donald started a new venture called “Time and Tasks”. This new venture enables Donald to continue to help distilleries maximize their potentials by working directly with each account to personalize their needs. Donald is also able to bring his expertise and consulting tool box to more organizations across multiple industries.
